I recently got a brand new PC and am trying to import my game profiles, but no matter what I try, they just won't transfer over. I thought all I'd have to do was use the "Snap Settings" feature on the backup archive, but only the less important settings, like GUI preferences, carried over. A "game profiles" section doesn't even appear in the screen that lists what settings were successfully imported.
As I understand it, game profiles are located in the "gmdb.blb" file, and I've already tried manually copying this file (and the others in the backup archive) over to their proper locations. I've also tried editing the file so that the "profileEnabled" lines read "TRUE", and completely reinstalling the driver, with DDU and everything.
I know I've successfully imported my game profiles before on my last PC, after updating the display driver. So what's going on here?
Currently running RS version 22.11.1.
If I can't transfer them directly, I wouldn't mind manually recreating my game profiles using the data in the backup as a reference, but I can't find where to look to see what the graphics settings are. There's nothing that explicitly states, for example, what my sharpening or texture filtering settings were at.
