Machine specs:
Laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad E580
Memory: 8GB
SSD: Samsung 960 nvme
GPU: Intel UHD 620 and AMD RX 550.
These are the distros I have tried:
Ubuntu 18.04.1 (Gnome)
KDE Neon (Ubuntu 16.04)
Kubuntu 18.04.1
On all of the distros I have tried the built in amdgpu driver, I have installed the 18.30 amd driver both all-open and pro editions. (Pro gets me a black screen in KDE).
I get about a bit under half the FPS as I get with the intel card.
AMD card:

3708 frames in 5.0 seconds = 741.567 FPS
3869 frames in 5.0 seconds = 773.752 FPS
Intel Card:
user@laptop:~$ DRI_PRIME=0 vblank_mode=0 glxgears
9599 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1918.674 FPS
8751 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1750.149 FPS
What could be wrong?
