Hello,

I am having very low fps never passes 30 fps/sec also with lowest graphics with game Red Dead Redemption 2 Resolution 2560x1080 since some days. But with Far Cry Primal I am having always 60 fps with 2560x1080. Problem appeared recently because before I had frame rates 49.9 fps in RDR 2.

I am using Vulkan enabled.

I am using:

Windows 10 Version: 20H2

Radeon Software 21.3.1

MSI Radeon RX580 Gamer X 8GB

AMD Ryzen 5 3600.

RAM: 16GB  DDR4 Kingston 2666mhz

Please can you check why RDR 2 had become such a worse performance.

Having a similar issue with my RX590. Usually runs at 60 fps and 180W+, however now power usage is down to 120W and about 30fps. The issue seems isolated to this game though. Have you found a solution?

I recently noticed the same - 30 fps at FullHD on RX580 with latest drivers that used to run this game in October 2020 at 50-60 fps using Vulkan and driver 20.9.1. I really don't know if it is the game's or later driver's fault. What I found is DX12 renderer does not have this problem and plays at 50-60 fps.

I tried to roll back to known good driver 20.9.1:

• booted to safe mode
• removed GPU  driver using DDU
• installed driver 20.9.1

The game in Vulkan mode started playing at 60 fps as it used to. So I decided to install latest 21.7.1 using the algorithm above and lo and behold - it also runs with good 60 fps! My guess the culprit are some leftovers from older drivers and to fix RDR2 Vulkan fps you need to clean up system with DDU and do fresh driver reinstall.
