Upgrading From RX 580 to 6750 XT How Do I Handle Drivers?

Hi friends!

So after almost 5 years I am excited to say that my 6750 XT is coming tomorrow! It's been a while since swapped GPUs. I currently have the latest stable adrenaline (22.11.2) for my RX580 installed, what is the current advice for driver uninstall/install when swapping 2 AMD GPUs?

Do I need to use DDU or should I just do an uninstall of adrenaline and then install again with the 6750 XT?

Or does my current version of adrenaline support the 6750 XT and can I literally just swap cards?

I went from a 5700 to a 6700xt and all I did was uninstall the old drivers shut the pc down, install the new card then install the new drivers and pick factory reset in the options and it went flawlessly.

You are going to love that card.

One more thing you may want to disconnect from the internet to keep windows from trying to install any drivers.
