Updated Radeon Drivers for 6800XT (21.10.2) in Windows 11 - Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error
Hello,
Looking for some assistance with this. I recently upgraded to Windows 11, and ran the AMD light driver installer for chipset and gpu. Prior to the upgrade, the game I would regularly play worked without issue (I believe I was using GPU drivers from ~August).
Both the chipset and graphics drivers were updated to the latest recommended ones seemingly without issue, but now when I try to launch my game I get an error before it even loads related to Microsoft Visual C++ stating the application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
This is an old game--an old EverQuest client that I use to play on an emulated server.
Any suggestions or next steps would be appreciated.
Thanks!

For what it's worth, even though it wasn't listed under older Windows 11 drivers, I downgraded to 21.8.2 under older drivers->Windows 10, choosing Factory Reset, and the game is working again.

This driver (21.10.2) causes itself to timeout and Windows 10 thinks the hardware has failed. I too, went back to 21.8.2.
