I have a tearing on my HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1xxx laptop with an external HDMI display.
To avoid tearing on my main laptop screen I use "xrandr --output eDP --set TearFree on", but I don't know how to deal with tearing on my external HDMI display.
The «vsync» option is torned on in my KDE Plasma settings, but it doesn't help.
If you need more information, just ask me in the comments.
