StoreMi is unable to support this motherboard's SATA source HDD and SATA cache SSD attachement.

When trying to install store MI, I get the message from the subject and can't  do an install.

 

System:

  • Windows 10 Home
  • Motherboard MSI: B450 Tomahawk MAX
  • CPU: Ryzen: 3600
  • SSD 1:  250 GB BX100 ,Crucial thrue SATA interface
  • SSD 2:  1 TB Intel 660P, thrue NVMe interface
  • HDD `1: 2 TB Seagate Barracuda SATA
  • HDD 2: 1 TB Seagate Desktop SATA
  • HDD 3: 1 TB WD My Passport Ultra

My wish:

Windows 10 installed on the Intel 660P as the C drive, not using storeMI.

Then 1 big drive consisting of the Crucial SSD and preferebly both SATA HDD's

 

What I already have done to try to solve the problem:

  • Uninstalled SATA SSD and HDD drivers;
  • used partition manager in windows and diskpart in dosprompt to remove all partitions except for the C drive, which is not going into the StoreMI drive.
  • removed antivirus software
  • removed external HDD

Sadly, I could not find an answer to this problem anyware, so I reinstalled windows 10. This solved the problem. But I think reinstalling OS is a big step for most

Before installation of StoreMI try to clear the drives using diskpart or disk management.
Then try to install the latest storemi 2.1.0.191.

Let me know your observation on the above.

I have the same issue, and have deleted all the volumes on the Intel Optane device, rebooted, still not able to fix the issue. I'm using the latest version 205.

Could AMD developers check this urgently? It seems affects many people. I was able to use the older version this machine, but after update, it stopped working, that's very bad.

My AMD 3800X PC is using the m2 SSD device for the cache, though it also has a SATA SSD drive.

It will be helpful to debug if u  share full system detail, steps you followed and what was system configuration before [ Older SMI installed ] and after[ Latest StoreMI installed ] ?
