I am using Lenovo Yoga 14s 2021 ARH, and after upgrading the graphics driver from OEM's to the one installed by AMD software, the startup becomes extremely slow.
My PC spec:
OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics
GPU: AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics
The reason upgrading the graphics driver: About 2 years ago, I had encountered the PA-300 | AMD Radeon™ Software Compatibility Issue | AMD error when using drivers installed by AMD instead of the one provided by OEM, at that time I was using Windows 10. After that, following the instructions provided by AMD, I uninstalled the driver and rolled back to OEM's.
However, now I encounter the problem when playing ppy/osu: rhythm is just a *click* away! (github.com), when setting VSync in fullscreen mode, and playing on the laptop's internal display, the screen becomes flashy with bad pixels. I asked the developers for help The screen flashes with bad pixels when using VSync in fullscreen or using any frame limiter in bord...
Following the developer's advice, I tried to install the AMD Software again in attempt to resolve the problem. Indeed, after updating the driver(the driver provided by OEM hasn't been updated since 2021.2) the problem is resolved.
However, my laptop's startup becomes very slow, after installing the driver, when by laptop is booting, the image with Lenovo's logo and the windows boot progress ring spinning is much longer than using OEM's driver, I need to wait it for minutes before entering the desktop, while this is expected not longer than 10 seconds.
