I thought it may interest AMD and you folks, that I think I found the culprit for this issue (at least in my case) that has been plaguing other cards and many driver releases.
I have an HDMI monitor with no audio (no speakers, no line in nor out, nothing). Disabling this device did the trick in my case, even when applying an undervolt on Adrenalin tuning. No more frozen black screen and wattman/warnings when rebooting after the black screen:
