Smart access memory not working

Smart access memory not working. I have a MAG x570 tomahawk wifi, ryzen 7 5800x and a founders 6900xt. I have enabled Re-size BAR and above 4G decoding. I've also disabled CSM, yet when I go check radeon software it shows smart access memory as not avaivable. I did hear that you can check if it's working from device manager, but it does not show that large memory range tab. I don't know what to do.

Your board has a BIOS update to support SAM.

AMI BIOS 7C84v15 2021-01-26 17.61 MB
  • Description:
    - Update to ComboAM4PIV2 1.2.0.0 - Support S.A.M technology (Re-size BAR function) to enhance GPU performance for AMD Radeon RX 6000 series.
/sig Fun guy.

Thank you! Did not think of that, hadn't updated BIOS since I got this computer.

You should update you bios every time a new AGESA version is on it.  or at least look for in the description for what it is , if is just to add new cpu's ignore it but if is a AGESA update you should do it
