Second monitor detects, but has black screen with displayport.

Hi,
I recently got a Philips 5000-series wide and want to use my other philips as a second monitor. It's a few years older, maybe about 4-5. I have previously used it with displayport when it was my main, with no problem. When I use it as a secondary only one of the monitors will work at a time when using DP on both. I can see that both screens are detected in AMD Software and the screen settings for windows, but one of them is completely black. 

I got picture on it when I enabled Eyefinity, very descaled. It works fine if I use my main with DP and my secondary with HDMI. Both are connected to my AMD Ryzen 5 5600x graphics card.

Any tips or tricks that might solve this problem?

It seems that the issue may be related to the DisplayPort cable or the graphics card driver. Here are some tips and tricks that might solve the problem:

  • Try using a different DisplayPort cable. Sometimes, the cable can be the cause of the problem, especially if it is old or damaged.
  • Update the graphics card driver to the latest version. This can help resolve any compatibility issues and improve performance.
  • Check the monitor settings to make sure that it is set to the correct input source. Sometimes, the monitor may switch to a different input source automatically, causing the black screen issue.

  • Check the Eyefinity settings in the AMD software. If Eyefinity is enabled, it may cause the descaled image on the second monitor. Try disabling Eyefinity and see if the problem is resolved.

Thank you for all of the suggestions!

After some testing I have come to the conclusion that the monitor is the error. I have tried daisy chain with another monitor and connecting directly to the gpu. For some reason it doesn't handle multi monitor setup while using display port. 
I will try to update monitor and see if that helps.
