Issue:
I'm experiencing stuttering when switching between World of Warcraft (retail @ dx12 and classic @ dx11) to and from other applications. Mostly, I switch from World of Warcraft to a web browser and back. I have witnessed the same stuttering switching to Notepad++ or Windows Calculator. When it stutters, both displays stop refreshing for a second and then return to normal. I've attempted to repeat the behavior with other games. So far, I have only witnessed the stuttering with World of Warcraft.
When WoW is running, it's running Fullscreen windowed mode on my primary monitor. All other applications are typically running on the secondary monitor, but not always and the stutter will occur. I have tried disabling hardware acceleration in the web browsers, but that did not appear to help.
I have experienced this behavior in 19.8.2 and 19.9.1. I will need to re-install 19.7.x to confirm if the issues was present in that release or not. I don't believe 19.5.2 had the issue. I also saw similar stuttering when running a Ryzen 7 1700X on a Gigabyte AX370-Gaming K7.
If anyone has any suggestions on what might be the root cause, whether it's a specific configuration change to WoW or a tweak to the Radeon settings, I'm all ears.
