Sapphire Rx 7900 XTX not go 36 bits color on DisplayPort Buy on HDMI does

Why can’t my DisplayPort 2.1 go 36 bits color but HDMI 2.1 does it work!

I do have 80gbs display cable on to my Sapphire NITRO+ RX 7900 XTX 24GB Gaming OC Vapor-X card!

because if I understand it correctly DisplayPort does support 36 Bits color at 6K Dell UltraSharp 32 6K – U3224KBA 60hz!

From what I can find, that is a 10-bit monitor. Here is what the manual says it supports:

  • 1 x Mini DP 2.1 (HDCP 2.2)(Supports up to 6K 6144 x 3456
    60Hz 10bit, HDR)
  • 1 x HDMI (HDCP 2.2)(Supports up to 6K 6144 x 3456 60Hz
10bit FRL, HDR as per specified in HDMI 2.

Well it’s say when connected with HDMI 36bits color (12 bit) BUT when switching to DisplayPort it’s say 30 bit 10 bit and not 12 bits
