Ryzen Master Memory Access Mode N/A ASUS ROG STRIX Egaming

Hello ,

I have a Asus ROG STRIX Egaming  x399 mainboard ( newest bios 0808 ), 1950x cpu, 32gb (x2 16 gb corsair), 1080 Gfx card.

I have the newest update to the OS - Win 10 Pro 64bit. Also all the newest drivers and software.

When i run Ryzen Master ( updated to newest version ) The memory access mode is greyed out with N/A.

I had read in other places that the bios update would fix this issue. I have updated to the new BIOS available to this mainboard and still cannot access this part of RYZEN MASTER.

Can some one help with a fix for this? Have searched everywhere and nothing. Asus told me to talk to AMD. So here I am.

Check the other posts in the forum, but they don't seem to help .

Thank you

Gary

That option becomes available when quad channel memory is installed. When using only two RAM sticks, as in your case, half of 1950x dies have to reach through the Infinity Fabric to access memory by design. At least on mine it works that way.

Thank you for your reply.

4 sticks for of 16GB sticks on the way. Hopefully that will help.

Much appreciate you taking the time to answer!
