Ryzen 5 5500u

My Laptop is Lenovo ideapad slim 3i which has the Ryzen 5 5500u and 4x4 dual channel RAM.
I've been playing several video games on this laptop for a long time without facing any issues. Until recently while playing games my fps would suddenly drop to 10 from a stable 40-50 and my gpu usage becomes very high for some reason. Even games that i had no problem playing for the past 1-2 years are giving me this same issue. Usually I'd restart my Laptop and open the game again and it'd run fine for the rest of the session. But now even when I'm in the main menu of the game the fps is very low and the motion on my screen is very sluggish. Some games have optional overlays which show gpu usage and whenever i face this issue my gpu usage is 2-3 times the usual amount.

I usually play games like Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, CS, Hunt showdown.
And i always play on the lowest graphics setting possible.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled all AMD drivers still nothing changed. I can't even play games anymore because it starts lagging on the main menu.

Kindly let me know what could be the issue.

Have you tried rolling back to an earlier driver version?

How's your drive space and last trim?
