Works only with Windows 10 x64
Ryzen 5 2400g is a desktop APU , so visit this site -> AMD Drivers and Support for Radeon, Radeon Pro, FirePro, APU, CPU, Ryzen, desktops, laptops
Also you have to make clean install with DDU

I just finished my build, and began updating drivers. I have tried to install the Vega Graphics, as shown, but the system locks at the windows log in screen. Keyboard and mouse become unresponsive. I was able to do a System Restore. This got it functional again, but I am still showing the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter as my only Display Adapter. What does using DDU do to facilitate this install? Also, is there anything else I should be looking for? I believe Graphics are the only thing left for me to update.
AMD Ryzen 5 2400g
ASRock Fatal1ty X470 (updated with the AMD sites chipset)
ADATA-XPG GAMMIX D10 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4-2666
SanDisk-SSD Plus 240GB SSD
Seagate-Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM
EVGA-BQ 500W 870+Bronze Semi-Modular ATX
Fractal Design-Focus G Mini
Windows 10 x64 Home Version 1803
ok
disable Win10 auto driver install
run DDU in Safe-Mode
reboot
install latest chipset drivers from AMD
install latest GPU Driver - CUSTOM - uncheck chipset-driver
it will work
Just to let you know, when I went into the custom installer for the GPU it was missing the option to not update the chipset driver. I ran it with everything enabled, and at the first boot the system locked up at the log in screen. I restarted the system, and it came alive. I started playing Minecraft, and it looked great. Then the computer locked up again. Could this be a hardware issue?
how to disable windows 10 auto install of driver?
i have the same problem with these drivers... after a reboot from installing them the icon in the start bar spits out a message that the drivers arent installed
I followed the steps from this page:
I have BSOD's in addition to hard lockups. Guess it's an "AMD" issue.
ahhh
pls do as i told you
I did a clean install, updated all of my drivers, and still got the issue. Because the RAM I had in my build (ADATA-XPG GAMMIX D10 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4-2666) was still returnable I picked up some G.Skill TridentZ (2X8GB) DDR4-3200 (F4-3200C16D-16GTZB) to try it out. Sure enough, after I put the new RAM in the system kicked right up. I was able to use the XMP settings, and it is sitting stable at 3200. I did have to go back to a Restore Point before the AMD Chipset and VEGA drivers were installed before I put in the new RAM. I then downloaded and ran the installers. Hope this helps. Took me a week and a half to get it up and running.
2933 is the max recommended memory speed for the apu according to amd
Yes, that is what AMD says. When I first put the new RAM in my UEFI read it lower then its possible speed (I can't remember what speed it was posting at). The system ran fine at that posted speed. I then went into the UEFI and changed the setting to the XPM setting, and it is still running stable.
also go to c:/amd and delete wu-ccc2 folder
then run DDU in safe-mode
