Having been torn thrashing and screaming from Ubuntu and the like due to the incessant failure to load working drivers, I found that despite apparently being dead, Centos just installs drivers ping - there you are... Nearly.
Running clinfo (after linking it into /usr/bin #oversiight), I get:
