I am having problems with my Sapphire RX580 Pulse graphics card, with the HDMI cable connected to the card, I have a signal to the BIOS, when starting windows 11, the card stops working, I have no signal and I can only see something if I disconnect the HDMI cable and I connect it to the HDMI port of the motherboard. If I run windows failsafe, if I have a signal from the RX580 when it loads windows. The motherboard is an MSI B450 Gaming PRO MAX, I asked MSI and they tell me that in the BIOS I have to select PEG in Initiate Graphics Adapter and FORCE in Integrated Graphics (as shown in the attached document) to have a signal from the RX580, but it does not work. I think the problem is in the GPU of the processor, an AMD Ryzen 5 4650g that has integrated graphics, but I don't know how to disconnect it. If I disconnect the drivers from the RX580 I have a signal through the HDMI port of the graphics card, but when I install them, the graphics card stops and I have no signal and I have to connect the HDMI cable to the mother to see anything. Can they help me? Thank you so much.
I believe when you have in BIOS "Integrated Graphics - Force" means that you are forcing to use your IGPU as your Main Display Adapter rather then your GPU Card that is installed.
What is the other BIOS Setting besides "FORCE" to select for IGPU?
Or do a CLEAR CMOS and reset your BIOS settings back to its factory default and see if your GPU card has video output during the booting process into Windows.
Normally, In most BIOS Settings the Main Display Adapter is set to "AUTO". So if you have a APU with Integrated Graphics and no GPU card installed, BIOS would automatically make the IGPU your Main Display Adapter. But as soon as you install the GPU card, BIOS will automatically switch the Main Display Adapter from IGPU to your GPU card as the main Video output.
So I would reset BIOS from "Force" to "Auto" or whatever option you have and see if your GPU card now is working all the time during the Boot up process.
Now some monitors when BIOS is set to "UEFI" mode and not "CSM" mode won't have video output til Windows starts to load. So make sure you wait a few minutes in case you have no Video output during BIOS. You may have video output once Windows starts to load.
Once you enter Windows, go to Device Manager and check to see if both GPU Card and IGPU are enabled or if they have any errors showing ( Including any other Device Manager category besides "Display").
Also run GPU-Z and upload an image with your AMD driver installed to see if the driver is installed correctly or not.
Hello, thank you very much for your answer.
The other two BIOS options besides FORCE are GAME MODE and DISABLE. Do you think this will work in conjunction with the Initiate Graphics Adapter section? Because there it is set as PEG and the other option is IGD. Integrated Pheriperals/VGA Card Detection, is set to AUTO.
"Integrated Pheriperals/VGA Card Detection, is set to AUTO." This seems to be the BIOS Setting I was talking about where when you install a GPU Card BIOS will automatically make your GPU Card (PEG) the Main Display Adapter for your PC.
Try putting the BIOS Setting from "Forced" to "Game Mode" and see what happens. Then try "Disabled" and see what happens.
From reading your BIOS setting for "Game Mode" what that does it allocates whatever System Memory your IGPU vRAM needs to run a app or game automatically. So I would keep this setting at "Game Mode".
You must remember that your GPU card is the main Display video output adapter and not your IGPU anymore. Unless you have in BIOS set specifically your IGPU as your Main Display video output source.
Go to Device Manager under "Display" and see if both GPUs are enabled or has any error in it. IF it does please post the errors Device Manager is showing, In Fact, upload an image of your Device Manager with Display opened.
Thanks again... I admire your willingness to help me.
There is no configuration or setting that normally allows me to get a signal from the GPU when starting windows, only from the IGPU.
BIOS setup with the HDMI cable connected to the GPU..., photo 1, 2 and 3
Boot the BIOS normally and start loading windows (Photo 4)
Suddenly, in the middle of loading windows, the GPU fans stop working and there is no signal anymore. (photo 5)
So... I unplug the HDMI cable from the GPU and plug it into the IGPU, and there is signal (pic 6)
When I see the device manager, there are the drivers loaded. (photo 7)
Now if I start the process again, but instead of starting windows normally, I do it in "safe" mode, it completes the windows load cycle and I don't need to unplug the HDMI from the GPU, and the drivers look like this . (photo
Could it be that the GPU is working no matter where the HDMI cable is plugged in?
You already tried Initiate Graphic Adapter [PEG] and Integrated Graphics [Disabled]?
Your video card BIOS may not support UEFI. Download GPU-Z and see if it's checked.
Thanks for the update.
BIOS is showing that the Main Display Adapter is your GPU Card since it is showing "PEG" and not "IGPU"
From all of your Device Manager images both your RX6750XT and IGPU are installed and enabled without any errors.
You GPU shows that your AMD Driver is installed correctly show the proper specs for your GPU Card.
But Device Manager is showing several drivers that are not working correctly or not installed by the Yellow Triangles next to the driver at issue. Click on each error and post the Device Manager Error code showing or why it is having problems:
Your Realtek Internet Drivers have problems. You need to download and install again your Motherboard's Realtek Lan and GBE Family Controllers drivers. These drivers is what controls how your PC connects to the internet and Wireless networks.
The next error concerns a Audio device but the looks of it " A-Volute Nh3 Audio Effects" This driver is also related to your Motherboard's Audio.
The next error is "Nahimic Mirroring Device". This is related to your MSI Audio. So you will need to install those drivers again from MSI Support from your Motherboard download page.
The next one is one can't understand in your native language. So I would google it to see what that driver does.
The next error is one that can be related to your Video issues. Your Device Manager - Monitor is showing an error. See if you can go to your Monitor's Support site and download your Monitor's Driver and see if that error goes away.
The last error in Device Manager is showing a Hardware or Driver error concerning your actual MSI Motherboard " MSI 7B86"
First try updating your Motherboard's drivers and try to get rid of all those Yellow Triangle errors.
Go to each error and click on "Update Driver" and see if Device Manager installs a functioning driver and the error goes away. If not then you will need to install the driver again from MSI Support.
Then if you still are having video issues with your RX6750XT then try to connect a different Monitor and see if you get video output.
Also try a different HDMI cable. It might not be compatible with your Monitor Resolutions.
Make sure that in Windows Settings - Display it is showing your main monitor as being connected.
Try installing the RX6750XT in another PCIex16 Slot if available and see if you get video output.
The best way to check your GPU card is by installing it in another computer and see if you get video output. I needed to take my to a local Computer shop to show me my Video card was working correctly due to having no video output during BIOS.
If no video output from another computer I would open a Warranty ticket with the XFX Support.
In fact I would open a Support ticket with both XFX and MSI Support to see what they suggest once you fix all the errors in Device Manager.
EDIT: How come in Device Manger it is showing a RX580 but in GPU-Z it is showing a RX6750XT GPU card?
The drivers only show problems when windows starts in "safe" mode, normally it looks like figure 7, anyway I'll see if there are any more current ones. I already changed the board in the two available slots on the motherboard and also the cable, it doesn't seem to be that.
Do you have a link to start a ticket on AMD? I couldn't find that.
Thanks again
Sorry I misread your previous reply then. If that Device Manager was an image while in Safe Mode that would explain all the errors showing since those drivers probably were prevented by running while in Safe mode.
You can open a AMD SUPPORT TICKET from here: https://www.amd.com/en/forms/contact-us/support.html
Thanks for your help..
Set to PEG and Disable..
With the HDMI cable connected to the GPU, I can see the BIOS start, windows boots, and before the main screen appears, the GPU stops working and I have to change the HDMI cable to the motherboard port to get signal and continue with windows.
With the cable connected to the IGPU, I can't see anything, not even BIOS boot, both with PEG and IGP...
Regarding GPU-Z, I attach the images, but it seems that the problem is not with the UEFI Support
I don't think the 580 officially supports SAM/ReBAR. Disable Above 4G Decoding and Resizable BAR in BIOS and see if that helps.
Also, you may want to update your Adrenaline Software and Chipset drivers. I see you're still on ver 22.

Thanks for your answer.
"Disable Above 4G Decoding and Resizable BAR in BIOS" Can you help me do that?
I already updated Adrenalin, but everything remains the same.
Hit the wrong Reply button. See above ^
Go to Settings\Advanced\PCIe\PCI Sub-system Settings and Disable those options.
It was finally fixed, although it may have been fixed and I never noticed it. The case is that when Windows 11 starts, the graphics card stops working and stops giving a signal through its HDMI port, however, when the HDMI cable is connected to the IGPU, and in response to the demand for graphic resolution, the GPU starts to function and uses its resources to solve the graphs. So, It doesn't matter that the HDMI cable is not connected to the GPU, what's more, it shouldn't be connected there because it doesn't work, but the GPU will, only when the graphics resolution demand requires it. Thank you all very much for your time and help, it is very valuable to feel support when one starts to get frustrated.
