I just upgraded my graphics card to AMD RX 6800 from a Nvidia GeForce 1080. To my surprise, I can now only choose 120hz instead of 144hz (which is what I used before). I am using the same cable (DP) and the same hardware as before (except a new graphics card). I am currently running AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.11.1. My monitor is ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q.
Things that I have tried:
- Tried earlier version of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition (WHQL recommended ones)
- Reinstalling drivers
- Reinstalling windows
- Changing to another DP cable
There are other threads with similar problems where a new version of drivers seems to have fixed the problem. This graphics card is not new so I would think that bugs in drivers should be fixed by now.
