When I turn on Directx 12 in Borderlands 3, two things happen to me that I encountered after switching back to Directx 11.
1) Having the game with directx 12 activated on the primary screen if I do alt+tab and I'm doing other things in the background the primary monitor starts to run at 10 fps too slow but the secondary monitor is normal
1.2) If you stay in the background or watch videos or something, the pc spent a while on the primary screen it blinks and suddenly goes completely black and is blocked on that screen for a few 10 seconds and returns to the desktop and the game crashes. Sometimes the pc gives blue screen.
2) High temperatures in the hotspot, when using directx 12 in games is this normal? (80º with high power usage)
When using Directx 11 I get temperatures in the hotspot 45-50 degrees and low power usage. ( No problem with performance )
Yesterday I tried in another game Minecraft does not use DirectX but OpenGL, for some reason I can't play Minecraft in Fullscreen which crashes the AMD application.
- I decided to reset the settings in the AMD app, it didn't work. I haven't tested other things like formatting or installing the drivers again yet. Just wanted to share this info in case anyone else is having the same issue and give feedback.
