Good evening,
Wanted to write about an issue I've had for a long while.
I've had this issue where Tomb Raider Remastered Collection CTD on start up.
I ran through the usual long list of things to check and do when this happens and the only fix I found was downloading the AMD patch 24.1.1 and playing on that instead of the newer patches.
I posted about my issue in the Steam forums and a few other people have commented with the same issue who also use a 6600 too.
I submitted a bug report through Adrenaline a while ago and another user did the same. But the last couple patches havent fixed it and I havent seen any acknowledgement on the issue.
I was quite happy going back to an old patch just to play the game. I only play together with my siblings and it only takes a couple mins to change patch since I keep the installers for 24.1.1 and 24.10.1 (current patch) in a folder.
Well, today I thought I'd go buy and play Darkest Dungeon, a much older game that I used to have on my system before getting a 6600.
And well, CTD on start up. I google the issue and find an old comment saying they have the exact same issue...and the exact same graphics card.
Can someone from AMD please look into this?
Purely for the humour, if I have to change patches twice a week that's 10 minutes a week.
That's 8 hours a year.
That's a like a shift at work for me, AMD.
And it's kinda messed up I bought a product and have to work it.
Where's my money AMD?
Where is my moneyyyyyyy??
