i updated to 22.10.2 even in previous versions the issue im having is when im playing games it would artifact and then it will black screen then it will go to desktop it will come up and say "amd driver timed out can someone help me please

specs are as follows

rx 570 4gb

ryzen 3 2300x

8gb ram

and a asrock a320 hdv mother board

I looked at the specs on your motherboard and see that it is a micro atx board.  Is this rig also installed in a micro case?  If so I would look seriously at heat issues.  Unless your using a liquid GPU cooler your going to need a lot of clean air flowing.  When was the last time you cleaned the dust out of the case and from between the block fins either with an air compressor or canned air.   Worked on a computer once that was so full of dust it failed to even boot.  Cleaned the dust out and it started right up.

I was also thinking that but it also could be due to his Power Supply unit not being a quality unit.
