RX 550 windows 8.1 driver
Hello
I see that there are no windows 8/8.1 driver. Tried win 7 and 10 version, got prohibited from continiuning. I installed desktop AMD software for automatic detection of device to find appropriate driver, but it didn't find one
Are there really no tricks to get driver installed for 8.1? I don't update to 10, because my motherboard should work best with 8.

Hello, Brother. I already partly solved my issue.
1) Downloaded win7 driver and extracted it
2) Went to device manager, selected videoadapter, right-click -> update driver -> manually selected extracted driver
3) something installed, now it's not standard videoadapter, it is Radeon RX550/550 series
I'll also try to interpritate what you said and get some useful info from it.

AMD Stopped supporting Windows 8/8.1 in 2017, I believe. So there are no more updates for any GPU Cards in Windows 8/8.1.
RX 480 has Windows 8.1 drivers. You can see if it will install or not from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-400-series/radeon-rx-400-series/radeon-rx-480
From the "Release Notes" from above Windows 8.1 driver indicates that it is compatible with the RX 500 Series GPU cards also. So the above driver should work for your RX580 GPU card in Windows 8.1:https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-17-7-1

Then this AMD Driver for the RX460 says it now supports the RX550 in Windows 8.1: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-17-7-1
Windows 8.1 Release Notes: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-17-7-1
