Hello
By practical experience with new AMD PRO W7XXX line of graphics cards and also gaming RX 7XXX ones, I wonder why there is so much trouble with them when connecting via RDP session on Windows server.
We've seen graphical artifacts on desktop within sessions (mostly on gaming cards), we've got quite a lot of BSODs caused by well known amdkmdag.sys on PRO cards.
Even setting Remote Desktop Client policy to Enabled as discussed here
https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/issue-with-newer-radeon-drivers-and-remote-desktop-con...
didn't help. We also tried different versions of AMD PRO graphics driver.
Only good experience we've got so far, is AMD Radeon PRO W6800, which doesn't produce any artifacts nor BSODs in RDP sessions.
Is there any official AMD annoucement regarding this serious problems?
Any experienced user who can explain this or give some technical advice how to proceed? Many thanks.
