When I have Vega 64 under full load, it will randomly shut off.
The screen will go out and the red dots on the GPU itself will go out.
Are you using third party controllers? Afterburner, trixx, asus, etc.
Do you have the Power Limit set to it's maximum + value in Wattman? (usually +50)
(Power Limit) > AMD graphics performance
Yes I do.
I'll set the power limit in afterburner to +10%, and we'll see if that works
As soon as you post your Computer specs uninstall MSI Afterburner after you set everything back to "Default" and use Wattman to control your GPU Vega card. MSI Afterburner tends to have conflicts with AMD Wattman.
Need to post as required by AMD Forum: IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING
Is this a Liquid or Air cooled Vega 64? What temperature is shown when the PC Reboots? Sounds like it is overheating.
It's a custom water cooling loop. It's running 60c at the time of the PC reboot.
What PSU do you have installed? You need at least a 900 Watt PSU for your Total System power with a Liquid cooled Vega64 according to this website: PSU REQUIREMENTS - RealHardTechX This is why you need to post your Computer specs.
I meant to say what temperatures during heavy loads does your GPU record?
Hard to say with no information provided.
Are you running HWINFO64 by any chance?
