Radeon RX 5700 Driver Installation Black Screen on Windows 10

Hey guys..

I know there are plenty of threads on this but i couldn't find a recent one nor one with a solution. So i just got a new PC build and when trying to install the Drivers for the RX 5700 the screen will turn black and stay black, even after rebooting. Going into safe mode and deinstalling with DDU is the only way out. Disabling updates doesn't help, disconnecting from Internet doesn't help, nothing does. I read that so many people have had this problem and i can't believe that there is still no solution to this. 

Here are my specs:

ASUS Prime B40M-A Mainboard
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
AMD Radeon RX 5700 (XFX)
G.Skill Aegis 2x8GB @ 3000Mhz

256GB SSD
GIGABYTE B700H Power Supply
Windows 10 Pro x64 (Fully Updated)


Please help. What i will do now is install Windows 8.1. Will update you on that. Next thing is putting the GPU into another rig.

Update: Realised that there are no Drivers for Windows 8.1 lol.

Update: My setup works just fine with my old GTX 670. Will try to install the 5700 to another rig now.

Update: Mods can close this post. I'm not wasting a single second more on that GPU. It's so sad, i really wanted to give AMD a try but yeah, many people still no fix. Bye.
