When I updated from 19.Q2 to 19,Q2,1 I lost the ability to stream Amazon HD video. Amazon thinks it is not HDCP compatible. If I clean intall 19.Q2 HD streaming is restored.
I have a WX 7100 with an Eizo CG2730 monitor.
your panel supports HDCP 1.4 but you need HDCP 2.0 to 2.2 for BD content and 4K
Did you even read what I posted? I am not doing 4K.. This is a QHD 2560x1440 monitor not 4k and doesn't need HDCP 2.0 or 2,2. HDCP is recocogized and HD streaming worked with 19.Q2 drivers but not 19.Q2.1 so it has nothing to do with my hardware, but with the driver.
I am not sure what has changed with Amazon but I have a new 2019 LG panel and it works ok.
Could be your panel is not able to handle the new security Amazon has rolled out lately.
The WX7100 is fairly recent so it should be OK
Again I will repeat myself. I said it works with 19.Q2 drivers. It has nothing to do with the panel or Amazon. It is some bug in 19.Q2.1
guess all you can do is await an updated driver
No, what I can do is make AMD aware of it and not just "await an updated driver" and ho[pe they have fixed something they are not ware of.
Please wuit replying to this thread. You are not helping.
AMD, are you aware of this problem? If so, is there a fix in the works?
