Radeon Chill & Radeon Enhanced Sync - AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 24.9.1

So in order to get Radeon Chill to work with Radeon Enhanced Sync, I have to use Window Borderless or Fullscreen Borderless in limiting max FPS. Those features do not work with Fullscreen or Exclusive Fullscreen, the max FPS does not limit. Does those 2 features only work in those window modes?

After some testing with older and newer games, I found out those features work in all window modes if one setting is turned on in conjunction with Radeon Enhanced Sync and Radeon Chill. That one setting is the AMD In-Game Overlay with metrics turned on. Must be some kind of bug that AMD has overlooked.

I'll just continue using the video games in-game Vsync for the time being until AMD has a fix for those features sometime in the future maybe.

I can confirm this. Had huge issues with Enhanced Sync, it was driving me crazy, but switching from exclusive to borderless made it much better! I also highly recommend setting framerate cap to your display's refresh rate either with in-game limiter, Radeon Chill or RTSS.
