I am running a brand new Ryzen box over an x570 chipset.
In testing performance on crystal disk mark, I am getting some numbers I do not understand- the performance is slower than a single drive configuration on some tests.
I am running a pair of brand new Sabrent PCIe 4.0 2TB rockets, with a fully updated motherboard and windows 10 pro. These drives are not overprovisioned, and so the partitions only total about 75% of the usable space- and they are not full: 43%
Of particular concern is the random 4k performance- Q1T1 my reads are slower than my writes by a factor of seven.
I am running up to date drivers across the board, no help.
Anybody have any idea what the issue is?
