Please give us mkv container support for ReLive

Hello,

As I wrote in the title, all I want for ReLive at the moment is mkv support as the file container.

Yesterday I wanted to record a bit of Starfield gameplay and used my usual setup with OBS on my (truthfully mismatched) Threadripper 1920X and 7800XT but using OBS I lost visible performance. I tried recording with ReLive and got the performance I used to with that HW combination.

But then it hit me, why I didn't use ReLive anymore: no mkv support.

Nowadays it doesn't happen to me as much anymore, but on a Systemcrash anything is lost, simply by the fact that mp4 needs to be finished after saving the file.

To say it bluntly: That invalidates a product by itself in 2024.

Yes, the driver resets today before it RIPs the whole system now, but the recording is gone - sometimes several hours of gameplay is gone, just because mp4 is a dead limp from the 90's.

Yes, I know mkv is not an official format, but it is the the most robust and easiest to handle format for nonprofessional users, even DaVinci Resolve can handle it perfectly fine.
