I've been having this problem with AMD GPUs since 2017. My PC will freeze after a certain time in gaming and I have to hard reset the PC for it to turn on again I had it with my RX 470 which I recently got an RX 590 which was running perfectly fine until recently. I had multiple part changes CPU,Motherboard,and,PSU and I still get the issue. I reinstalled windows on a clean slate still have the problem. Whenever I put an Nvidia GPU in it seems to not have this freezing issue. I put my RX 470 in another PC it didn't freeze after a 2+hr GPU benchmark. My RAM i've tested with memtest86 it finds no errors. I'm not sure where this is coming from. I've used DDU to reinstall drivers,ive reseated the GPU. I've heard it being a windows issue but I reinstalled windows and reformatted my drives.
