PC acting weird after driver error

My graphics drivers decided for some reason to unistall themselves and replace themselves with windows drivers.

I have no idea why this happened but i couldn't start my game i wanted to play anymore and everything was weird.

Anyway i installed new drivers and everything seemed to be fine except that my monitor for some reason no longer could display more than 144hz even though i have a 240hz monitor. Even weirder, when i turned on gpu-scaling in the drivers i could only display 120hz. Alot of resolutions were also "deleted" in that trying to start a game with a 4:3 resolution would not work, i had to manually go in the settings file and change to 1920x1080 and when i looked in game settings i could only use 1920x1080 and 1280x720.

My gpu is a RX 5700XT that has apart from this worked flawlessly so i don't understand whats the matter. My games also felt very stuttery when i played and it was pretty unbearable.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this problem?

Hi, I think Windows installed an older version or installed onto the existing drivers and might have corrupted the files. Have you tried a clean driver uninstall and reinstall the latest Adrenalin again? Before trying this, make sure that you Disable or turn off Display Driver Update. You can find this on, Advanced System Setting - System Properties - Hardware - Device Installation Settings.

Use the link be low to download the DDU and cleanup the drivers as instructed on the page.

Also have the driver downloaded as well to install once it's cleaned up. Use the link below and select Graphics, the Model and Windows version. Download the listed last stable version.
