im hoping im writing this in the right forum I never really did this before, 

I'm playing hollow knight for a long time and never had any issues, today it started lagging for some reason and this message is like showing up for a spilt a second and disappears and kinda flashing like that 

I don't really know a lot about software and computer stuff in general so I thought maybe people here will know how to fix this cuz its not very playable with lag

Make sure the game is set to run in full screen, not windowed mode or borderless window.

i did that and it didnt fix this, I still get the message and I still lag, 

ill try and show a video of the lag if I can
