I updated my driver approx 3 months ago when I installed win10 but now I can't find it here. I tried to get the auto=detect software but I can't seem to download it. Says something about Legacy drivers but not sure what to do!
I need the MSI Radeon 7790. I realize it's old but want to get it working until I build a new PC. The last one I downloaded was AMD HD Radeon 7700 series I believe.
thank you

Hope you don't have Windows 11 installed because the only AMD Drivers available is for Windows 10 or older OSes.
But if you do have Windows 11 see if the Windows 10 driver will install.
Your GPU is Legacy or Non-supported by AMD with driver updates. The last driver is from 06.2022 from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/amd-radeon-hd-7000-series/amd-radeon-hd-7790
Before giving up on your old GPU card if the last AMD driver is not working well try a previous AMD driver from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/previous-drivers/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/amd-radeon-hd-7000-series/amd...
You can try and Stress test the GPU card using OCCT to see if it complete without any visual problems or shuts down.
either way good luck.

No, I have Win 10 pro. Thanks for the link to the driver, all up and running again.
I'm not sure what happened but my task bar and other entities like hoover over shortcut icons and start menu were all full of tiny different coloured areas. I'll see if the new driver keeps things in check, if not perhaps time for new GPU's
Thanks again elstaci
