In the beginning, I want to say that I tried every possible solution that I came across on this forum and on reddit. Every time I did a clean install of the driver with DDU, several clean installs of last windows build all the drivers on my system and bios versions were updated to the latest actual ones. I am not using 3rd party software for tuning my PC etc.
Sometimes the system freezes and my display loses the signal, sometimes the pc immediately reboots. Sometimes Event 18 from WHEA logger (Cache Hierarchy Error or Bus / Interconnect Error) appears in the event log after a crash. This error started appearing in the event log after the 2004 may update. On the previous build, the crashes were exactly the same. Crashes sometimes happen randomly, very often it happen in game menus, during game loading, and much less often during gameplay itself. Crashes often occur when switching between game and desktop using alt + tab. Sometimes you need to do a lot of alt + tabs, sometimes just once is enough. My system is rock solid with other GPUs. My system is stable during CPU and memory stress tests, it can run for hours without errors. Despite the fact that my memory was stable and passed all stress tests, I got a new memory, which is still stable both at stock frequencies and at OC, which cannot be said about my gpu. I have submitted multiple reports to AMD and none have been answered. And as the title says, with driver 19.7.5, I don't experience any stability problems, although half of modern games don't want to work with it, and the performance is lower in general.
My system specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @ 3900 (same issues at stock)
ASUS Prime b350m-A with 5406 bios (AGESA 1.0.0.4)
AMD RX 5700 (stock, auto undervolt, oc, whatever) connected with 2 separate power rails
Crucial Ballistix 3000mhz 2x8gb kit @ 3400 (same issues at stock, xmp, oc) tried a different memory kit, same issues
Be quiet! system power 9 700W PSU (my third PSU since the purchase of the gpu, same issues)
TR200 Toshiba SSD
Seagate Barracuda HDD
