Hi,
My monitor is connected to my GPU via DP and it used to show up as audio device I can switch to, however now it's suddenly dissappeared and I can't get it back even after trying:
- Updated to newest version of GPU drivers
- Uninstalled and reinstalled audio drivers from Device Manager
- Unplugged headphones only left monitor connected
- Uninstalled monitor from Device Manager and added it again
- Verified that monitor itself works fine, by connecting it to laptop and it shows as audio output device there
- Used HDMI cable to laptop saw it worked, plugged same HDMI cable to GPU, again no audio output device
- Tried all 3 DP port's
Only thing that's changed since it stopped working is I updated my BIOS firmware to latest version. Below are screenshots from Device Manager(Win10)
