I wasn't able to play Halo CE for very long because of memory leak issues that seem to only affect computers with AMD GPUs past a certain driver version. My RAM would constantly climb until I exited out of the game. My brother's computer with an NVIDIA card played without any problems.

This user posts a fix of rolling back to an older driver, but this isn't compatible with newer cards like mine (7900xtx). The oldest driver compatible with the 7900xtx that I could find (Adrenalin 22.12.1) doesn't fix the issue. This has been a problem since December.

i have the same problem that they haven't solved since december and it's a shame that they haven't solved it either AMD or Microsoft

Latest driver that can give you a playable experience is: 22.5.1, but it is as you say: your graphics card doesn't support the older drivers. (I'm using an RX 6800)

I created a post here, with some more details, but the gist of it is, you cannot play with CE's anniversary graphics. You have to play with the original graphics, on 22.5.1.
