Adept II

many problems with 6700xt 5600.

i bought this full amd pc about 2 years ago.
i these two years i have had more problems with this pc then any other pc ever.
i have replaced many part such as motherboard ram cpu but there are still many problem occuring on a weekly basis that i then have to spend hours of my free time when i just want to play a game.
the many driver problems, downclocking isseus, stutters and overall game performance has been very underwhelming and this point im ready to throw in the towel and switch back to nvidia and intel even tho i dont even want to.
i have tried all the drivers, windows updates, replacing parts and settings but there are still alot of games where the performance is just not enjoyable.
yesterday i played some games and had no problems, today i boot up my pc to play some overwatch and im greeted by severe stutters and buzzing sounds, after doing a ram check and overall pc check nothing seems to be out of order.
another hour ruined because of these problems.
i know this seems like a rant but at this point im just frustrated to the point that im just going to switch over because i dont want to get more time ruined by these countles problems.

please amd idk how i can send you info so you can see what is going with my pc but this is my very last try.

Sorry to hear that and I can understand how frustrating it must be.

- Can you be more specific about the symptoms
- List your hardware configuration (precisely - and which components you have changed already)
- What software you are running (OS, BIOS, drivers, installed programs that are running/active while problems occur - for instance everything next to clock, on bottom right corner in Windows)
- What steps have you have taken already to fix it

It is likely, that either something is broken or there is a hardware or software incompatibility

To reduce possible causes, I would recommend pulling out every device and gadget not necessary to boot and test the machine. If you have soundcard, DVD-player, capture card, USB drives, dongles and sticks, whatever, uninstall and unplug them. Use only one memory stick, remove non-necessary fans and gadgets, keep side panel open. Clear CMOS and flash BIOS to latest (assuming it supports your CPU), underclock CPU and GPU, keep XMP/(DOCP Asus) disabled. Only one SSD installed. Reinstall Windows 10. Install all updates to it. Download chipset and GPU drivers from AMD's website and install. If you see any yellow triangles in device manager, find drivers for them from motherboard makes site. Install one service (like Steam) and one game or 3DMark and test if problem persists. If it does, try another game that uses another DirectX version. If it still persists your hardware is simply broken and next step is to find out, which one.
