Hello,
I downloaded and installed the latest Chipset drivers for my computer.
I have an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU on an
ASUS Crosshair VIII Formula motherboard (BIOS 3501) with
64GB G.Skill RAM (2 x F4-3600C16-32GVK) and
Windows 10 Pro x64 (v21H1 19043.1023).
When I properly SHUTDOWN or RESTART my computer, Windows 10 Pro will shutdown,
but the motherboard will hang and not turn off.
I have to force the motherboard off by holding down the power button.
I noticed in the Driver Details, it says the new drivers include :
AMD Ryzen™ Power Plans (required for UEFI CPPC2 in Windows® 10 May 2019 Update)
I think this needs to be reviewed.
Thank you,
Peter...
