Nvidia is releasing security patches for Kepler and it made me think.
Seven years ago AMD wasn't doing great financially, driver support for Terascale was ended despite Terascale 3 cards only being 4 years old (even though Terascale 2 was still being used until 2014). I think the 5870, 6870, 6950, 6970 and 6990 are still viable today even with outdated drivers.
I know its unlikely but I would love it if AMD would go back and do a final driver for this architecture.
