Hey AMD community,
I've been using a laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics (8 Cores). As many of you might be familiar with, I've been relying on the AMD Adrenalin software to access certain functionalities and optimize my experience.
However, I've frequently encountered issues with the software. Every time I attempted to install Adrenalin, I was greeted with an error that prevented it from launching. To troubleshoot this, I reverted to a previous driver for the integrated graphics card, which seemed to resolve the crashing issue.
But recently, while playing Red Dead Redemption 2, I received an error suggesting that I needed to update my CPU. Upon checking my Adrenalin software, I noticed that there's no option for me to update. I'm aware that it's possible to manually download drivers – and by "manually", I mean selecting my hardware myself rather than letting a software auto-detect my configuration. However, I've found that this method also leads to Adrenalin becoming unresponsive.
So, I'm a bit stuck here. What's the best course of action to keep Adrenalin running smoothly while also being able to perform the necessary updates? Should I uninstall all my drivers and then reinstall Adrenalin from scratch?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
