Is there any longterm damage for using voltage swing and pre-emphasis at (2)?

I have RX580 and 144hz monitor, while setting the slider of both settings to (2) my stuttering was greatly reduced, however, I have yet to find is having these two on can cause any damage

This changes some timings and parameters on the monitor.
You have to agree to a EULA before being able to adjust these values, so there is always a risk that in doing so could harm your display.
However, I am not aware of any specific damage that could be caused by adjusting these values.

Hello @Matt_AMD, how does "Voltage Swing" and "Pre-Emphasis" exactly affect the timings and parameters on the monitor, and what would be the best setting to get the most out of my hadware in terms of latency?
