I have the LG C9 which has full HDMI 2.1 48Gbps bandwidth.
Also have HDMI 2.1 cable and the only component I was missing was the GPU.
Yesterday, I was able to get an AMD RX6900XT which has HDMI 2.1 too.
I thought all these should work well in getting me 4k/120hz 12bit 4:4:4 RGB but it is limited to 4k/120hz 10bit 4:4:4 RGB or 4k/60hz 12bit 4:4:4 RGB which basically means 40Gbps!
Is it really the maximum bandwidth with the RX6900XT?
I can't imagine that since nVidia RTX30 GPUs support 4k/120hz 12bit 4:4:4 RGB full HDMI 2.1 48Gbps bandwidth just fine.
I really need help with this.
Thanks.
