Is AMD FREESYNC graphics card compatible with a G-SYNC monitor?

If I have an AMD radeon graphics and I want to use the FREESYNC of my graphics card to a MONITOR WITH G-SYNC, will it work?

A lot of gsync labelled monitors support the freesync vesa standard.

AMD list here, https://www.amd.com/en/products/freesync-monitors

Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T..

That could depend on what model graphics card and monitor make/model.

Like goodplay said it will depend.

Eg i'm using a Red Devil RX 6800 XT with a DELL OMEN 27i 27" 1440p 165Hz (G-Sync)

I have the option to enable freesync in the radeon display settings as its supported

I have a RX 5600 XT TUF gaming and I was thinking of buying a monitor but most good monitors have G-Sync and I don't know if my graphics card would be compatible with any current monitor model.
