Installing AMD Adrenaline 22.12 on windows 10 fails due to "Unsupported Operating System"

I tried reinstalling the graphics drivers with the DDU uninstaller.

All windows updates are installed.

I am able to install the 22.11 version of Adrenaline but that doesn't support 7900 XTX so I need the 22.12 version. Any ideas?

According to the Release Notes:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-22-12-1-rx7900

for Windows 10, the drivers need "Windows 10 64-bit version 1809 and later." What's reported under Settings > System >  About > Windows Specifications?

EDIT: and you downloaded the drivers from the Windows 10 section of:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-rx-7000-series/amd-radeon-rx-7900-series/amd-rade...

Windows is version 2H22. Drivers are downloaded from the correct section yes. After a ton of restarts it actually worked somehow
