Installed AMD Software Update -- Screwed the Pooch

Hello. I installed the latest AMD software and got an AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition Warning. It said, "The version of AMD Software that you have launched is not compatible with your currently installed AMD graphics driver. For information on how to resolve this, please go to: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-300" This update caused a big mess for me to have to figure out how to fix. A mess that I don't have time for but have to do because it will set me back even further if I don't. Everything on my screen is enormous and it's giving me a headache looking at it.

When I went to the suggested address, I was taken to another device utility to install called "AMD Software Compatibility Tool". So I installed it, but it was of no help. The tool says, "The version of AMD software installed is already a compatible version. Please check if the AMD Display Driver is working correctly." However, it didn't give me any information on how to check the AMD Display Driver.

Also, just before I installed the update, the AMD Bug Reporting Tool popped up while I was working back and forth between the internet and my OpenOffice suite. This is what prompted me to check for an update.

I can't do any of my computer work until I get this situation fixed. It drives me crazy when stuff happens to my computer. I built it myself with over $1200 worth of parts. How do I check the AMD Display Driver?

My problem has been resolved. I feel so stupid now because all I needed to do was restart my computer. However, I don't understand why after installing the update, I got an AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition Warning, instead of a prompt to restart my computer. I went through all this BS thinking my computer was screwed.
