It seems that the only way I can get a driver working is manually by the INF files.
needless to say the skill needed to get my RX 480 working is still needed in the extreme
AMD might want to simplify the driver installer and eliminate the fluff which seems to be causing problems with freezing and BSOD problems
the new installer is again another headache
If AMD wants me to make a stable and safe installed I can crack open Visual Studio and made an installer that does not crash
