I'm having problems after a CPU upgrade

At the beginning of this year I decided to give my computer a makeover, I started to remove the dust from inside the case, put an SSD and formatted Windows. I decided to update GPU and CPU drivers. I have an Asus Radeon RX580 and a Ryzen 5 2600 on a Gygabyte B450m DSH3. I entered the official AMD website and started updating the GPU, it was a success. So I went to the CPU update, that's where it all started, I installed the latest version of StoreMI (2.1.0.218, released on 05/02/2022) and after finishing the installation, Windows blue screen. Windows restarted the system several times, all resulting in a blue screen. After a few attempts, it restarted in safe mode and asked for a new restore, so I did and when I finally managed to access the desktop. "C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not available" and I'm stuck here. I can't proceed to the desktop or use the PC, I've tried restoring Windows again and again to no avail. Please help me, I don't know what else to do.

First CPUs without Integrated Graphics doesn't have drivers so no need to update it.

STOREMI is not a processor driver but a program to connect a SSD to a HDD for faster boots. It is something like RAID but different.

You going to need to do a Clean Windows install but first you will need to delete your Windows Drive Partition during the Windows Installation.

Most likely STOREMI changed the Boot Manager which is causing your BSOD most likely.

Run the Windows installation either from a USB Flash drive or DVD disc if you are using Windows 10 but if you are using Windows 11 you will need to use a 16GB Flash drive to run and install Windows again.

If you can't run Windows Installation please post back.

NOTE: Before I do any major changes I generally do a SYSTEM BACKUP with both Windows 11 Backup and Macrium SYSTEM Backup. That way if something like what happened to you occurs all I have to do is enter Windows  Troubleshooting Menu and select "Restore System Backup" to restore a Windows System Backup or use Macrium's own Flash drive Restore app to restore Macrium's System Backup.

That way once the System Backup is restored I will have the exact copy of my Windows drive the day I created the System Backup.

NOTE: In Windows 10 & 11 if your restart your PC three times as it starts loading Windows the PC will restart on the fourth time with Windows Diagnostic and then you can enter Windows Troubleshooting Menu and try to Reset your Windows which is similar to installing Windows again.

You can add a second SSD or HDD to your PC and store your System Backups there or use an external HDD drive.
