To be honest i dont know if someone tried really hard he cound make a worse deiver software.
First, why dont i have an option to install a bare-bones driver without the stupid additional functions,
Second, i swear my pc works fine but when i install all of the ussless crap that comes with the drivers my fps tanks to 15
Third, why does the software think i want it to automatically change my overclock settings? I use msi afterburner wich is what radeon software should be, and still radeon software overwrites my msi ab settings! Like who asked?
Fourth, after raging on the poor traits radeon software comes with, i rationally decide to uninstall it, but guess what, it seeks revenge and it deletes my gpu from device manager! Then i have to add it manually, i hate you AMD Software.

And lastly even when i uninstall it, the pc still lags because the Amd software cant uninstall itself normally! which leads me to formatting the pc just to have the peace of mind that Radeon software didnt leave a single thing on my PC

Sorry you are having issues with the Radeon Software .. for me it's been working great. I don't use MSI's Afterburner though .. never felt a need/want for it.

What are your full PC specs? What are the usual programs that you install? Do you overclock anything?

Maybe you have something else going on that just happens to manifest itself in different ways .. for example .. I have an RX 550 2GB GPU in my wife's all AMD setup (B550m Phantom Gaming 4, 5600x, 2x8GB 3466 sticks of RAM) .. She was experiencing driver timeouts and issues pointing to the GPU.

Turned out is was the very low end ThermalTake RGB 500w 80 Plus (White rated) power supply .. once I swapped it out with a Segotep (Big in China but still not a high quality brand) 600wtt 80+ Gold power supply .. no more issues at all .. 

Anyways .. if you just want to rant .. then ok. BUTT!!! IF ...you maybe want to try diagnosing your issue(s), THEN.. there are very knowledgeable folks here that are more than willing to try and help you out.

You do have that option.

"Full install"

"Minimal"

"Driver Only"

Doubt that's going to do much good. I've reinstalled my system drive multiple times and have issues persist. If you want to fix issues around Adrenaline, you have to use DDU. There's no way around it.
