I am trying to remove a bootable StoreMI TierDrive. When I select to remove it I get this message at first:
![amd1.jpg amd1.jpg](/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/31476i96048DF10BF0379A/image-size/large?v=v2&px=999)
After I click Yes, this message appears:
![amd2.jpg amd2.jpg](/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/31478iC2649113F696CC6B/image-size/large?v=v2&px=999)
I click Yes again, and it says that it will reboot after a few seconds.
![amd3.jpg amd3.jpg](/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/31479iEF9587EB3D8770E3/image-size/large?v=v2&px=999)
I then get the following loading bar for a few minutes with no progress:
![amd4.jpg amd4.jpg](/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/31480iC2BBAD32A936A707/image-size/large?v=v2&px=999)
The following error message then appears:
![amd5.jpg amd5.jpg](/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/31481iF31D053B61D00D9E/image-size/large?v=v2&px=999)
The system does not reboot.
The StoreMI guide mentions shrinking the partition so that there is unallocated space at least 2GB larger than the fast drive. I am unable to shrink the partition any more than by around 100GB.
